2014 State Bond Campaign Your District, County Office or Business Can Support C.A.S.H. Efforts

The Coalition for Adequate School Housing needs your assistance once again and urges you to write a letter to the Governor to encourage him to support Assembly Bill 2235 (Buchanan/Hagman) – the State School Bond for the 2014 November ballot.  Please tell him what a State School Bond would mean to your local school district or your business.  Please find draft letters below, form letters are not as effective as pertinent information about your district or business, so please include facts about projects and/or jobs.

Please send letters to the Governor in support of AB 2235 by July 11.  The letters should describe the impact that a new bond would have on your school district and the surrounding community.  If you already submitted a letter to the Governor urging his support for a State School Bond, you can use the same content and update it to reflect the format in the letter templates below.  Please copy Cheryl MacKelvie, C.A.S.H. Staff [cmackelvie@m-w-h.com], we will then distribute your letters to the Legislative Leadership.

Letters to the Editor
Please also consider sending a letter to the editor of your local newspaper.  You could either send a letter similar to the letter to the Governor or click here for an example.  Please also send a copy to C.A.S.H. staff [cmackelvie@m-w-h.com].
